VT Barks & Recreation has permission to post pictures of my pet(s) on their business Facebook page along with their business website.

VT Barks and Recreation, LLC is authorized to care for your dog as outlined in this contract. 

VT Barks and Recreation, LLC is also authorized to seek any medical care if deemed necessary with release from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment and expenses, and is authorized to approve medical and/or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian.  Client agrees to contact their vet to authorize services for their pet(s) and fill out the Veterinary Release Form to indicate max allowance on vet services to be paid for by client.  Client also agrees to reimburse VT Barks and Recreation, LLC  for any expenses incurred attending to this need.  The client shall inform their current vet of permission for VT Barks & Recreation, LLC to admit their pet at owners expense if needed. 

In the event of personal emergencies or illnesses, VT Bark and Recreation, LLC will notify client as promptly as possible and fees for missed services will be reimbursed.  The client understands that he/she is solely financially responsible for any veterinary care, for any reason, needed during or after their pets stay. 

The client is responsible for any costs/payments due to bites. If a bite occurs,  VT Barks and Recreation, LLC is responsible for reporting it to authorities. 

All dogs should to be current on both Rabies and Distemper vaccines and current with flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.  All dogs must be free of disease, internal and external parasites. 

All dogs are also required to have their own orange safety vests with names and phone #’s written on them and current ID tags. We recommend the Ruff Wear orange safety vests.

If overnight camping, please also bring a bed (or blanket w/ smells of home); food, and any medication. 

VT Bark and Recreation, LLC reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time before or during this term. 

Client understands that this contract is for walking/boarding and/or daycare only and will not include any training. 


Cancellation Policy 

A minimum of 3 days cancellation notice for overnight camping is required and at least 24 hours for day camp cancellations. Cancellations with less than required notice may be charged at the full rate. 


Dog requirements 

  • current on Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough

  • have a flat collar with identification tags (name, license, contact numbers)

  • friendly with unfamiliar people and dogs

  • appropriate weather gear

  • current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention

  • Negative Fecal Results within last 6 months

I understand that my pet (s) will be in a setting with multiple dogs, exposed to other dogs and their odors, and will spend a majority of their time outside playing in all weathers. I understand it is my responsibility to request a bath for my dog if desired. If my dog has an accident, or requires a bath due to his own odors disrupting the day to day activities of those it's around, a bath will be given and the appropriate charges may be added to my bill.


Service Prices:

Day Camp & Trial Day $45.00

Overnight Camping: $75.00/ 24hrs and payment is expected at time of pick up.   Any time in addition to the 24 hour period will be charged for an additional day camp fee. 

Exit Baths: $20.00; Nail Trims $20.00

Our own food (Honest Kitchen/Essence/Sojo) $5.00/meal

   

Release of Liability 

I do hereby waive and release VT Barks and Recreation, LLC from any and all liabilities of any nature for the actions of myself, my pet(s), or any other person who accompanies me, except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of VT Barks & Recreation, LLC.  VT Bark and Recreation, LLC agrees to provide all services in kind, humane, reliable and trustworthy manner. Client agrees to notify VT Bark and Recreation of any concerns within 24 hours of their return. In case of an emergency, inclement weather or a natural disaster I authorize VT Bark and Recreation, LLC to use their reasonable judgment for the care and wellbeing of my pet(s) and/or house. 

I understand that VT Bark and Recreation, LLC can terminate this contract if my pet becomes a threat to the safety or health of VT Bark and Recreation, LLC or the community due to aggressive behavior.  VT Bark and Recreation, LLC will contact client if pet(s) display aggressive behaviors or tendencies.  I acknowledge I am responsible for medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to VT Bark and Recreation, LLC  or other person or animal caused by my pet(s). VT Bark and Recreation, LLC reserve the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason. 

I attest that all of the above information is true to the best of my knowledge. If anything changes from what is listed, I will inform VT Bark and Recreation, LLC before the next service is scheduled.  This signed document gives VT Bark and Recreation, LLC authorization to enter the above listed address as needed to perform the necessary service. I authorize this contract to be valid approval for services so as to permit VT Bark and Recreation, LLC to accept all future telephone, email, mail, on-line reservations and enter my home without additional signed contracts or written authorizations.
